TESTING THE WATERS

Ezial Systems are designed and tested to comply with Australian Standards AS2047 and AS1170 at an independant NATA accredited and AWA endorsed testing facility - Azuma Designs. The testing is performed in its’ most rigorous form ensuring once the products have gone through these processes and approved, they will perform to their optimum.

All Systems tested are fabricated using standard proven methods recommended from the support literature published for each individual System. Dry glazed methods are used where designed as standard, wet glazed methods are used where System design requires.

Ezial seals are made from high quality virgin material and have been redesigned to suit each individually created extrusion, this ensures performance is not compromised, unlike some existing Systems using reground manufactured seals with designs that have been copied over time losing the initial integrity intended.

Most results achieved have exceeded expectations, our ENOVATION 50mm Sliding Window has achieved 290pa water with the standard sill and 650pa using the high capacity sill and sub sill. Air infiltration at 75pa test pressure was 0.00 L.per sq.M positive and 0.13 L.per sq.M negative, 150pa test pressure 0.34 L.per sq.M positive and 0.09 L.per sq.M negative, this ensures our environment is the winner limiting the transference of harmful elements into the fragile atmosphere and also improving energy efficiency.

Our COMMERCE 150mm Centre Glazed System achieved 1500pa water and the 150mm Front Glazed System achieved 1200pa water using dry glazed methods in the pockets. These are just some of the highlights to testing so far. For further information, please contact Ezi Aluminium Systems.

Ezi Aluminium recommends the use of sub heads, two part sub jambs with a high performance sub sill to achieve the highest weather performance.
